THE CREATION
In 2016, Jean-Claude Ellena created Terre d'Hermès, an Eau that links man to his origins, to the sources of his creative power. Terre d'Hermès recounts man's relationship with the earth, his humble and harmonious dialogue with nature and the elements.
Since 2016, Christine Nagel, Hermès perfumer, has been looking at the earth to explore new possibilities.

THE OLFACTORY NOTES
A mineral and woody fragrance, Terre d'Hermès combines the power of cedar and the radiance of grapefruit with a vibrant flint note.

THE OBJECT
On the ground, the bottle sits on an orange H. It makes its mark on the earth. On the sky side, the light reflects off the metal shoulders. Between the two, the transparency of water.

THE HERMÈS DETAIL
Once in the hand, the Terre d'Hermès bottle reveals a host of details: the emblematic Hermès saddle stud, the cap that slides open to release the spray, etc.
Created by designer Philippe Mouquet, it was inspired by a travel kit bottle housed in the Emile Hermès Museum.
