THE CREATION
Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel signed Eau de rhubarbe écarlate in 2016. An unexpected interpretation of Hermès Cologne, it revisits the surprising freshness of an herbaceous plant, rhubarb.
OLFACTORY NOTES
A fruity, citrusy fragrance, Eau de rhubarbe écarlate expresses the freshness of crisp rhubarb and tangy lantana, combined with elegant musk notes.
THE OBJECT
The emblematic lantern bottle is adorned in a scarlet red hue. On the orange box, a contrasting band echoes the colour of the bottle.
THE HERMÈS COLOGNES COLLECTION
An infinite playground as much as a virtuoso, the Hermès Colognes collection explores the sensoriality of materials. The result is an immediate and generous pleasure that transcends genres, fashions, ages and seasons.

"I've always loved the duality of rhubarb. A double duality: visual and olfactory. Its green colour transforms into red. From tangy and crunchy, its scent becomes suave and velvety.""" Christine Nagel
With Eau de rhubarbe écarlate, Christine Nagel creates her first Cologne for Hermès. New and daring, more vegetal than citrusy, it offers us the crisp, tangy freshness of rhubarb velvety with white musk.
