"THE CREATION
Jour d'Hermès Absolu was created by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena in 2014. The composition is an absolute of femininity and flowers. "I wanted a strong signature, as close to the woman's body as possible. You can see her shoulders, her neck, you can touch her, smell her."
THE OLFACTORY NOTES
A floral fragrance, Jour d'Hermès Absolu reveals the sensuality of gardenia, the sunny character of jasmine sambac and the velvet of apricot blossom.
THE OBJECT
Designed by Pierre Hardy, the bottle unfolds in round, sensual curves. In the centre, a suspended drop of pinkish amber light.
ETHICS
The bottle is filled with the 125 ml Jour d'Hermès Absolu eau de parfum refill. A responsible gesture, inseparable from an object created to last.
THE HERMÈS DETAIL
An essential tool in the craftsman's work, light, at Hermès, is the first of materials. It brings objects to life and reveals the beauty of the world. This light inspired the most essential of perfumes, Jour d'Hermès.
"I wanted to express the essence of femininity through flowers, and nothing but flowers. Jean-Claude Ellena
Femininity made into a fragrance! Jour d'Hermès celebrates the birth and rebirth of women every day, highlighting the beauty of the feminine while preserving the mystery of each woman. A profusion of bouquets. From dawn to dusk, here's a bouquet of flowers that smells, touches and hints.
