THE CREATION
Created in 2019 by Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel, Un Jardin sur la Lagune eau de toilette is a secret garden where nature has stood the test of time. An intriguing place hidden in a city of a thousand contrasts: Venice.
THE OLFACTORY NOTES
Floral and woody, Un Jardin sur la Lagune eau de toilette relies on luminous magnolia, enveloping pittosporum and carnal Madonna lily.
THE OBJECT
Designed by Fred Rawyler, the bottle is inspired by the lines of car lanterns of yesteryear. The glass of the bottle is enlivened by a delicate shade of Venetian ochre, echoing the surrounding wall of this garden. An abundance of nature, admired from the water of the lagoon, appears in splashes of colour on the box, painted by the artist Safet Zec.
ETHICS
The bottle is filled using the 200 ml eau de toilette refill. A responsible gesture, inseparable from an object created to last.
THE GARDEN FRAGRANCE COLLECTION
The Parfums-Jardins collection is the result of a meeting between the soul of a place, the inspiration of the perfumer and the theme that Hermès chooses each year to illuminate its creation. It's an olfactory stroll to be shared at every moment, for fresh, dreamy, escapist tastes.
"I dreamt of this garden. I composed a fragrance woven from its memories, from the trees and flowers that have grown there and from the nature that still lives there today" Christine Nagel, Hermès perfumer.
A door opens, a dream escapes.
Un Jardin sur la Lagune is a secret garden where nature has reclaimed its rights. Woody scents mingle with floral notes. The wind carries away salty notes.
