THE CREATION
Terre d'Hermès recounts man's relationship with the earth, his humble and harmonious dialogue with nature and the elements.
In 2009, Jean-Claude Ellena gave Terre d'Hermès a new density with the creation of Terre d'Hermès Parfum.
OLFACTORY NOTES
A warm, woody fragrance, Terre d'Hermès Parfum combines enveloping cedar and sparkling grapefruit with a note of vibrant shiso.
THE OBJECT
On the ground, the bottle sits on a more prominent orange H, echoing the increasing nuance of the fragrance's colour, which leaves its mark on the earth. On the sky side, the light reflects off its metallic shoulders.
THE HERMÈS DETAIL
Once in the hand, the Terre d'Hermès Parfum bottle reveals numerous details: the emblematic Hermès saddle stud, the cap that slides open to release the spray, and more.
Created by designer Philippe Mouquet, it was inspired by a travel kit bottle housed in the Emile Hermès Museum.
Terre d'Hermès recounts man's relationship with the earth, his humble and harmonious dialogue with nature and the elements. Terre d'Hermès is the fragrance that connects man to his origins, to the sources of his creative power.
