THE CREATION
The first Parfum-Jardin, created in 2003, Un Jardin en Méditerranée evokes a walk through a secret garden in Tunisia, teeming with trees and flowers. An unusual oasis of olfactory, visual and tactile sensations, created by Jean-Claude Ellena.
THE OLFACTORY NOTES
Fruity and woody, Un Jardin en Méditerranée eau de toilette combines a sweet fig tree, notes of green mastic and delicate oleander.
THE OBJECT
Designed by Fred Rawyler, the bottle is inspired by the lines of car lanterns of yesteryear. The glass of the bottle is enlivened by a delicate gradation of blue, reflecting the changing reflections of the Mediterranean. The box is illustrated with southern colours by artist Aurore de la Morinerie.
ETHICS
The bottle is filled using the 200 ml eau de toilette refill. A responsible gesture, inseparable from an object created to last.
THE PARFUMS-JARDINS COLLECTION
The Parfums-Jardins collection is the result of a meeting between the soul of a place, the inspiration of the perfumer and the theme chosen by Hermès each year to illuminate its creations. It's an olfactory journey to be shared at every moment, for fresh, dreamy, escapist moments.
"A fragrant expression of a Mediterranean memory, a mosaic of olfactory, visual and tactile sensations". Jean-Claude Ellena
A short story that recounts the spirit of a Mediterranean garden teeming with trees and flowers, and evokes a mosaic of scents marauded in a private garden in Tunisia. Like a travel diary, this fragrance evokes this paradisiacal world of shade, water and light, on the theme of a fig tree with Mediterranean zest.
