THE CREATION
In 2011, Jean-Claude Ellena created Voyage d'Hermès Parfum, an intense and generous reinterpretation of the original fragrance. "I moved away from the formula's principle of 'concentration' to focus on the intensity of perceptions and the amplitude of the trail."
THE OLFACTORY NOTES
Woody and ambery, Voyage d'Hermès Parfum reveals invigorating juniper berry combined with the milky-sweet character of sandalwood.
THE OBJECT
Designer Philippe Mouquet has created a singular object, inspired by a pocket magnifying glass found on the road. The black glass bottle is adorned with a silver stirrup decorated with the emblematic saddle nail.
ETHICS
The bottle is filled with the Voyage d'Hermès 125 ml fragrance refill. A responsible gesture, inseparable from an object created to last.
THE HERMÈS DETAIL
Since Thierry Hermès founded a harness and saddle factory in Paris in 1837, Hermès has been the craftsman of movement and travel. This theme inspires the company's creations and drives its culture.
"An invitation to discover, to meet and to share". Jean-Claude Ellena
Fuelled by imagination, Voyage d'Hermès expresses the House's deep and original relationship with travel. A play of paradoxes, complements and original alliances serve the purpose of a fresh, musky woody fragrance, familiar and surprising, between impetus and comfort, equally at home for men and women. Philippe Mouquet, designer for Hermès, has created a nomadic bottle-object for Voyage d'Hermès, designed for travel and a messenger of movement.
